Rain or shine, nothing was going to stop the union of love between these two. Corinne and Martin held their romantic outdoor marquee wedding at The Old Dairy Maleny, and despite the weather did not fully cooperating, it didn't dampen the mood and everyone had an incredible celebration, long into the night.

To ensure guests were refreshed from the start, our team of bartenders served champagne after the ceremony at Little White Wedding Church.

Through the afternoon guests enjoyed live entertainment, fresh canapes, a heart-felt selection of wines personally chosen by the couple, and two of their favourite cocktails, margaritas and maple old fashioned. These were all served by our bartenders from our travelling Caravan Bar.

One highlight we must mentioned was the bride's stunning wedding gown, that gave her the exact bridal glow you dream of.

How and when did you both meet?
Hospital drinks, I think 2012...

How and why did you choose your wedding venue?
We were able to create whatever vibe we wanted at The Old Dairy. We loved the wide open spaces

What type of vibe were you looking to create for your wedding?
Colourful, fun and relaxed

Tell us about some of the special little details and special touches you made or planned?
My nanna was an amazing part of our wedding. She spent months making every multicolored table cloth and every napkin. She also made all the desserts for the wedding day.

What was the most unforgettable part of the day?
Everyone embracing the crazy weather

Any funny/ memorable/ silly/ unexpected stories you can share from the day?
Too many to remember. It was a hilariously fun day with everyone from ages 2 to 92 dancing most of the night away

Why did you choose to work with Gathering Events, and was tell us what inspired your bar menu?
We wanted to continue to have a fun, festival type theme. We loved how cute the Gathering Events van was, it completely suited ou theme. It was fun decided on a bride and groom cocktail. I love tequilla, so a margarita was a must for me. Martin wanted a real boys boy drink, so an old fashioned was his drink of choice.

Any wise advice you would offer other couples leading up to their wedding?
Don't sweat the small stuff, as long as you have family and friends your day will be perfect
